Silkworm Pupae

Adding protein-containing silkworm pupaes to the substrate can be used as a dietary supplement. This can help achieve faster larval growth and a larger adult size. These pupaes can also be used to feed Goliathus sp. larvae.

The Silkworm Pupae is one of the most beneficial dietary supplements due to its exceptionally high protein content. It can be used for feeding species belonging to the Goliathus genus, as well as a substrate supplement in the rearing of flower and rhinoceros beetles. When supplementing the diet with protein, less is always more, as excessive use can diminish their effectiveness, so moderation is crucial. The high fat content of the pupae makes this especially true.
